The Problem in Economics Is That People Don't Know Something
James Carville: It seems to be the case more so in economics than anywhere else I've seen. Is it people don't know something and my guess is they may well realize they don't know it, but they claim that they do and they will double down so hard? He says no economist outside of maybe one or two departments in the entire United States would understand Marx to be a serious economic thinker. "I think for the audience, because a lot of people don't think about this, I'm just going to talk about this briefly, Nancy," he adds.
