The military bloggers have a commercial incentive to give basically the most accurate information possible so reading them is actually quite plausible. The russian sort of state media is based on making sure like linear Putin has a good day and everything is about just like blood guts Ukrainians are bad but ultimately whatever that's taken is ultimately about russia's impending decisive victory in everything. If bakmuth changes hands especially in a relatively short time compared to how long it took russia to take it um that is only going to drive deeper wedge in that fisher between pregosian and the ministry of defense you know which is good for Ukraine bad for rUSSIA.
