Women Are Able to Negotiate a Better Deal on the Mating Market

There tend to be moremen on the mating market looking for women than there are women looking for men. Men normally, almost always outnumber women in that regard. Women spend a lot of their time and energy involved in all those really important parts of reproduction is itself a resource. So when men out number women, then women are able to drive a harder bargain because there's more suitors competing for them. And so again, you have a high price of sex. But what i tend to think is that if in doubt, we should hope for a society where the price of sex is relatively low.
