The Next Phase of the Debt Reconciliation Process

Treasury secretary has warned that the government will run out of money to pay its debts on october eighteenth. This would trigger a global economic crisis and ac pic recession here at home. The easy and completely cost free way to avoid this is for congress to lift the debt ceiling, as they have done routinely in a bi partisan fashion for over a century. And republicans are refusing to do so this time. Why? Because they want to lie to voters by running mid term ads that falsely aquate democrats voting to raise the debt seiling with democrats voted to add more debt.
