In the book, as i recall, we're told that elendil and gialad threw down saron. And sildor just cut the ring from the finger of sarons. Not really a corpse, cause he's not really an incarnate, but you know what i mean. To me, when i'm seeing here, of course, he's not dead. He's only mostly dead. And he's amya.
