It's an issue for the banks, isn't it? The older Australians with big deposit bases are great sort of funding for the banks. But what banks need is actually like growth and lending in the economy - that's where younger people come in. So if the younger people can't afford it, where are the banks going to make their money? Well, I think they're thinking about that now. They need younger people to be buying houses and starting families and starting businesses. Those younger people are really under the caution at the moment, and that will be harder for them. It's a thorny problem that we've really allowed to build up over a couple of decades.
