What Are the Seven Sins of Memory?
All of us have experienced day to day life where we forget things, or struggle to remember something that we really knew we needed to remember. We are all familiar with forgetting from our everyday experience but there are other ways in which memory can go wrong. So what are the seven sins of memory? While there are three that i call sins of omission, when memory is lacking. These are basically different kinds of forgetting. One i call transients, that forgetting over time. That's transience, absent mindedness. The third sin of omission, i've called blocking so this is when information is present in memory and hasn't faded overtime.
