Are We Ever Really Prepared for Motherhood?
I don't know anyone who feels prepared for motherhood. I never expected to come into adult hood during a pandemic, or transfer to university and across the world alone. There were so many unexpected twists and turns. And so i think perhaps the focus should be less on how to make kids unbreakable, but rather to cultivate hearts that are hopeful in the face of fear,. joyful an suffering and persistent in moments of despair. Don't think perfection is the goal, but just a willingness to arise again and again, even after mistakes are made, because they will be.
