The Nameless Organism
Iana Ye: Naming is an act of respect. When you know something by name, some one by name, you are far less likely to commit harm against that being if that being has a face or has a name that you tin with your lips. Extinctions are on going and constant. And it's hard to advocate for the nameless organisms that perish every day. So i think to be imaginative about solutions to conservation, i think would be to invoke these philosophical, romantic, personable relations we have with other organisms.
