The Tsunami of Intent and Attention Is Coming
HR competencies are rated lower today in part because we expect more. HR folks, watch out. The tsunami of intent and the tsunami of attention is coming. Go out and start take a finance person to lunch, get to know some of the finance. Join a board if you're the CHRO. I think the head of HR without a business background can begin to learn. And somebody showed me a picture on LinkedIn that was three women who happened to be heads of human resources. That says the only way you're really good in HR is if you lead the business.
