The Lord at My Right Hand Shall Strike Through Kings in the Day of His Wrath
In the first verse of Psalm 110, the word sit thou at my right hand was literally an invitation to the king in ancient Israel to sit next to God. Jesus is David's son due to the fact that he has come to earth as a mortal born of Mary. In Matthew 23, Christ rebukes the Pharisees and Sadducees for their hypocrisy.
