A lot of these things aren't though we internalize them from 12 to 18. Anecdotaly, i see people dealing with it in their thirties and forties,. before we realize that wasn't helpful. We need some help. And a when i am working with eljbt clients, either, hey, i didn't realize i was gay because there was no permission to know who i was, so i never pursued it.
