i remember when a shernma was put in charge of the kdego guide lines, and she came out with a barn storming of an editorial. She walked back from a pretty strong statement about how they were going to go about doing the kadigo guide lines. I think the reason was her kadigo gide linds were to be a pamphlet, cause there was no data to base these gide lines on. And ss, this is not what they want. They want a real gide they want something that's a little bit deeper than that. So i think, i mebe, i absolutely share your frustration. It's a major failure in the science

We wondered/debated on our observation that hyponatremia is not reliably seen in patients receiving vasopressin in the ICU. In the VASST trial, Vasopressin versus Norepinephrine Infusion in Patients with Septic Shock, 1 patient in each study arm of nearly 400 patients developed hyponatremia. Note that patients with hyponatremia (<130 mEq/L) were excluded from the study.
