The False Spirit in the Mouth of the Prophets

This is a passage that troubles a lot of people because they're like, oh, my gosh, God's putting a lying spirit in the mouth of people. Like, how can you do that? I think to understand that we don't know exactly what's going on here exactly. But whatever is happening, what is clear is that the Lord is the one who is orchestrating events. So Ahab thinks that he's doing what he wants all the while not knowing that he's actually falling into the very trap that God has placed for him.
