What's the Point of a Conference?

The first computers started in home brew computing clubs. When you get people together, information sharing is going to take place. People are gong to have ideas, people are going to learn. So it's something that, like, just intrinsically we as human beings, we want to meet and have community. That cannot always be true. Can i get white lested? I song about for sure.
