I was born in 1970 like you, October 28th, I'm 29. My dad had a seventh grade education in the automotive industry and my mom had a high school diploma. And so when I was trying to leave, they're like, Oh, no, you're not going to make it in the world. You got to stay here and keep doing this. So I found a way out to get into telecommunications and move to Texas. After 10 years in Dallas, we're confirmed GTE, which is now Verizon as a contractor. We should have stayed business partners. Kind of didn't really work out as a marriage.
