Io psychologists are specifically trained in this sort of thing, but there are people in other fields too that might be very well trained. But you need to be very careful because there are a lot of pitfalls. There's the issue of whether you're measuring the right thing and whether your test really reflects what you wanted to measure. The entire area of potential discrimination because sometimes tests, certain groups will do better than other groups. And companies have been successfully sued for hundreds of millions of dollars over these kinds of issues.
