The Triple-Witch Event in the US Stock Markets

The Eurozone fell into a technical recession during the fourth quarter of last year and the first quarter of 2023. The equity markets in Europe are flirting with new 52-week highs. Things are going to get a little scary on Friday with a triple-witching event brewing here in the US markets. That's the simultaneous expiration of stock options, stock index futures, and stock index option contracts all on the same day.
