I do see the parallels with the early internet. Back when i first got on the internet in 91, people would say, what do i need to do that? Right? I've already got a phone. And you had to build these applications slowly when some of them were very, very rough and ready. Now it turns out that the internet is is really resilient. Nation states can still stop access to the internet within their borders; china has built a big censorship wall around it its internet. Where does the analogy break down between that early internet and defy as he sees it en? How far can i stretch that parallel?
