The Story of the Lindbergh Kidnapping
Charles Lindbergh's son Charlie was kidnapped in April 1932. The kidnapper, a man known as Graveyard John, delivered the ransom money to Charles and his brother John on April 2nd. On May 12th, just 72 days after the kidnapping, the decomposed body of a baby was found near Elizabeth Island. Two days later, Charles identified his son's body by examining his teeth.
