Bodhi mind can be easily snuffed out, or at least covered over. We protect the flame of our Bodhi mind by not exposing it to those who will only respond to it with skepticism and disinterest. In Buddhism we call this the treasure of Sangha, the community of practitioners. It's a waste of time to contemplate what others are doing or not doing. All that matters is your waste-seeking mind. What do you want? At first, this may seem like a negative process. But until we're fully enlightened Buddhas, we have plenty of Dukkha lurking beneath the surface"
