There hasn't been a really high profile stammer in the UK since King George VI died in 1952. Nor has there been a decent film featuring someone who's towers. There was a singer called Gareth Gates who had a stammer and he famously had therapy but not that high profile. Generally speaking we have been shown as figures of fun so kind of like just basically people to laugh at comedy characters figures of fun.
