The Fed Losing the Bond Market

I think we've seen deflationary periods throughout US history, and they've not been detrimental to the economy. But I guess the question is, what does that look like? What does it look like when the Fed begins to lose the bond market? I don't know, but I can say what the consequences are. It would be actually pouring gasoline on a lit fire.
