Northwest frogs and pitcher plants actually have a beneficial tionship. Frogs will use a plant's pitcher for shelter, trying to keep cool during summer. Their feet have natural adhesive or suction cumps that help them manoeuvre in and out of the pitchers. They're not at all prey for pitcher plants. But if you see a dead one, something went wrong for the frog. It knows what it's doing and loves it.
