Is There Human Input in a Definition of Fairness?

Sally Kohn: Does there need to be human input in the form of weighing the value of the importance of each kind of group? She asks if gender is 0.6 and race is 0.4, are we assuming supposed to put value on saying gender is0.6 and Race is 0.3? Kohn: Of course, technically, one could incorporate such weights if you wanted to into a definition of fairness. But somehow the discussions of fairness don't become politicized along other dimensions like race and about gender," she says.
