The Graph of Desire Is a Road Map
The human subject is this continuous mashup of the two elements. A knowing self and a truthful one. Freud fundamentally thought spatially. The unconscious was an other place. It was always somewhere else. Analysis simply knows how to work the ridges. Fundamentally, Lacanian psychoanalysis is topographic work. And everybody right now, everybody on this call is somewhere on that landscape.
