The Surface of the July 7th Memorial

The Hill House is a temporary museum. In a way, it's a field hospital. You can have a roof-as-eye view of Charles Rennemackintosh's Hill House. We've almost built the project with oil rigging technology. And she's been in a material that gives a semi-protective veil. But when we bring the visitors into proximity with those conservation repairs, we can start to engage them in the questions of how and more fundamentally why we should conserve our heritage.
