Clint Smith is a Davidson College graduate. He's done several pieces, but this book,. which just came out, talks about monuments and landmarks. And there is a chapter in there about Juneteenth. But he also talks about some of these plantation recreations. This is how the narrative is written through these monuments and these different landmarks. I recommend it highly. We hope that this is kind of a way for you to answer those questions on your own and begin that conversation if you don't know how to. You can't just check off the box and be like, done.
