The Battle of Wellington and Bluch
From opening barrage to last gunshot, the battle lasts nearly 12 hours. Wellington has still never lost a battle but that stat is not uppermost in his mind. By the time Wellington and Bluch are shake hands at a nearby inn, Napoleon has already left. He had whispered to a general, Come sir, the affair is over. We've lost the day. Let us be off.
