There were moments where we talked a whole lot about women in ministry and how that should look a certain way. Yet when it came to implement those ways of being it was not Co-equals, right? It was still very much the woman doing the woman work and me being thought leader as the man. And yet there were no conversations had with the black church, right? "It was just like frankly a whole lot of virtue signaling," he says.
