This case, I think it really shed light on just a lot of big issues, not just in Korea but everywhere. It started a lot of conversations on male dominated fields and systems where boys clubs still seem to be running rampant. The fact that someone actually went to jail is a step in the right direction given that so many sexual assaultors have been found innocent or never even tried. So it's good but a sentence feels like a final slap in the face. This case is now closed but it's just really unfair. She was only 23 when she died and she gave her whole life to the Air Force.
