The book comes from a very sad you know story that I got suicidally depressed back in 2007. It's been interesting to see how different age brackets of Gen Z has kind of figured themselves out and reoriented themselves. The way that a lot of these unhelpful thinking habits impact Gen Z is largely what the argument of the coddling of the American mind is.
