The Tension Between Motivation and Purpose

I feel like there's a tension here between looking at the job as the things that are just practically every day appealing about it versus unappealing. There is still practical factors such that you could say, this is my calling, but it sucks and I hate it. But if that's your primary motivation, I think you're setting yourself up for burnout.
