Before your heart softening, I think you said you were primarily motivated by anger. And a desire for vengeance and justice towards the West in general. How has your relationship with anger changed over time? So anger was key to radicalization. It still is. If you want to radicalize somebody, you do need to get them angry. But it's not hate. You only get angry if you care about something.
