The State Shouldn't De-Emphasize Calculus
Jill: I don't think it reflects well on the system that a lot of the concepts that I was learning in my earlier math classes really only made sense and kind of came into focus. Emily: There does need to be motivation and relevancy that is better emphasized in math education. Oftentimes in school, we love subjects because of who teaches them to us. And so I think that the state really needs to invest in its teachers.
