The Germans Must Make Theirself Reliant on Much More Expensive Sources of Energy
There are probably divisions within the German elite so for example this let me give you two examples I read the interview that Angela Merkel is set to have given. The Germans must make themselves reliant on much more expensive sources of energy including US sources which are far more expensive and by the way environmentally much more destructive than those from Germany or other countries. In 1990 the 1992 presidential election you witnessed the most successful third party candidacy probably in the 20th century namely that of Ross Perot as a businessman ran on a platform which said we can't have these free trade policies we must emulate Japan.
