Netlify's edge plugin lets you run a templating language on request. You can expose data from your build into the edge function. It has a, there's like a 50 millisecond execution time that's built into edge functions. So they need to be very, very lightweight. And because of that limitation and because of the sort of scoped down version of these templates, they're very speedier.
