CNN's John Sutter spoke with San Francisco supervisor Dean Preston, whose district includes one of the most overdose plague parts of the city. Preston: "It is a transparent effort to appease national conservative media by declaring war on a diverse low income urban neighborhood" He said Newsom did this so Fox News would fall in love with him and it could be a publicity stunt. But what does this have to do with national conservatives? Your average everyday American would say you shouldn't just have open air drug spots where people can buy and sell drugs  and then sit there and use drugs in the middle of the street.
