The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
The four foundations of mindfulness are body, earth, mind and feelings. We have within us a river of feelings as we have this physical body that asks our attention. William o'dut douglas said 90% of our decisions are made based on our feelings. The other ten % is the intellect used to justify how we feel about things. To be mindful means to come into a wise relationship with this river of feelings.
