The Fed's Strategy for Lower Yields and Lower Prices
The path between here and there is uncertain given the fact that you have a lot of dynamics to get through with the short term as well as the medium term. Powell seems to be squarely in the camp of pausing rates at least in the June meeting and then taking a meeting by meeting thereafter. So broadly speaking, I think higher yields as well as tighter regulatory framework should lead to tighter credit conditions over the remainder of the year.
