The Linear Model Isn't Oversimplified

New inventions often occur as a result of tinkering and exploration at the frontiers of science. When an invention is created, nobody actually fully understands why it works science. The linear model doesn't tll you that this kind of thing happens, but it does happen. M where i think the linear model can be over simplified or that caricature is wrong is in a number of places.
