The Myth of Enlightenment

Plato's story is a parable of coming into greater and greater contact with reality. He shows how you pick up on real patterns that challenges you, it sort of blinds you, and then you transform to pick them up. Then you confront those real patterns again, and you're doing that cycle that i talked about. There's a greek word for this assent called anagoge.
