Nuts are good for our cognitive function. Older adults who consume nuts about 15 to 30 gram per day perform significantly better in terms of their short term memory, fluency, processing speed and also attention. Emma has found it easy to swap out her sugary treats for nutty snacks so we're keen to see if she sticks with it. But first let's choose some nutty fat with Dr Zien Tan from the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at Deakin University in Australia.
