Is There a Metabolic Disorder?

The concept of respiratory compensation is that if your bicarbonate is elevated, then you should essentially compensate with an elevated pico two. And alternately, if your bICarbonate is low, you should compensate by hyper ventilating and pushing down your pico two - so the pitory system should ideally kind of compensate for any sort of metabolic abnormality. But i'm sceptical as to whether not this whole issue of adequate respiratory compensation is beneficial at all. The evidence basis here is really pretty sketchy. Josh alluded to two traditional techniques, the winters formula, used in a bed of balk asedoses to calculate normal respiratory compensation.
