Justice thomas says that in future cases, we should reconsider all this court's substantive due process precedents. This includes contraception, same sex marriage and private sexual consensual conduct. The reality is states will pass laws designed to make it very difficult for people to exercise rights like same-sex marriage or contraception. Justice alito and his majority cannot prevent that. And that's the climate that we will live in.
