The Splashdown Party

I can tell you everybody was holding a breath. You forget the breeze. And I forget exactly what that clock said when they finally came out. But not long after that, you see the beautiful, very large parachutes with the command module hanging under them. Gently, floating down and splashing the water. Beautiful sight. So you splashed down and you get the crew on board. You light a big cigar and then usually you're off to a big party. They call it the splashdown party. That was the tradition. It's just amazing.
