How to Slow Down and Stand Up for Yourself

Many of our conflicts have to do with taking things very personally. One good thing to help yourself take it less personally is to tune into the internal sensations of breathing. You can still stand up for yourself as a person without getting caught up in the self-contraction. Does not mean being dominating or abusive with others. It just means being a friend to yourself like you would for another person.
