Beans in a New Way
In the space between recording the last episode and in recording this one, i found a number of new angles about beans. So if you out there still have bean doubts, allow us to try to evaporate them with some deft parching through to day's episode. We start off by talking about philosophers and beans, and a particular beanfield slaughter from greek history, slash legend. And then we talk about how an ancient Greek philosopher ate lupins - a type of bean that was considered only fit for feeding to animals or for the extremely poor and starving.
