What Is an Innovation?
An innovation at its simplest form is identify a valuable problem to solve. Use a technology to solve that problem and put it inside a business model that allows it to scale as quickly as possible to create value. And the end is, if you take your innovation team off to the side and disconnect it from the ability to influence either the customer, the consumer, the internal user, wherever that innovation is intended to go, then the likelihood that that team can put together those elements are very low.
