Is the Osmolar Gap a Good Clinical Tool?

Osmolar gap is not the most sense ative or precise tool to be using here. A normal osmol gap ranges from minus ten to plus ten. It's possible that someone could start out with a low base line osmoile gap, have a significant ethelnglical intoxication and end up with an osmoil gap that's still within the range of normal. So if i can't screen with the os molar, tell me about this theory of double gap, thehawke sticks where they meet, and how anin gap can help me.
